If you have a complaint about how the Victorian Public Sector Commission (VPSC) carries out its functions, please let us know at [email protected].
If your complaint is a public interest disclosure, read how to make a public interest disclosure.
The Victorian Public Sector Commission has specific legislative functions and powers set out by the Public Administration Act 2004.
The Commission doesn’t generally have the power to investigate complaints about Victorian public sector agencies, board members or their employees.
Any complaints, including individual conduct allegations, should be made directly to the agency involved.
You are welcome to advise the Commissioner of your concerns if you consider a public sector body or employee has acted inconsistently with the public sector values, codes of conduct and the employment principles and standards. This information may be used to inform the Commission’s compliance monitoring function.
In some instances, the Commission may also be required by law to directly refer a matter back to the responsible agency or an oversight body such as the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC).
