Barwon Water is Victoria’s largest regional urban water corporation, providing water and sewerage services to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. Its service area covers 8100 square kilometres across the City of Greater Geelong, Borough of Queenscliffe, Surf Coast Shire, Colac-Otway Shire and part of the Golden Plains Shire.
Barwon Water takes a comprehensive approach to understanding and acting on the results of its People Matter Survey, including results related to organisational integrity.
In 2025 Barwon Water developed a formal whole of organisational action plan to address PMS results and ran independently facilitated focus groups to explore themes more deeply. The Managing Director also provided quarterly updates to staff on progress.
