This year’s report provides insights into the size and composition of the Victorian public sector. It provides details on the types of work our public sector does, where our employees work, and their experiences in our sector.
As Victorian Public Sector Commissioner, Brigid Monagle, shares in her reflections, this years’ report shows an increasingly representative and inclusive sector working with dedication and integrity.
The report includes workforce data and uses People matter survey data for the 12 months to June 2025 to gain insights into employee experiences.
It also includes key performance indicators for the public sector. These KPIs monitor public sector performance, progress and improvement areas for the coming years.
The report includes a series of stories to highlight the sector’s invaluable work for Victorians.
