Applications are open for the 2027 Victorian Government graduate program.
The program provides a career pathway into the public service for recent university graduates who will work in a range of roles over 12 months across different departments.
Successful graduates will commence the program in February 2027 and be supported by a tailored learning and development program.
The program offers specialised streams for graduates which align with what they studied at university from accounting and finance to economic consultancy, data analytics and a generalist stream. Plus, there are pathways you can opt into if you’re an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person or a person with disability. Support is flexible and tailored to each applicant.
Applicants undertake online assessments, attend an online information session and participate in a virtual assessment centre to assess their suitability.
Graduates make long-lasting connections with fellow graduates and mentors in the program, and work with high-performing leaders and team members across work areas that benefit Victorians.
Visit grads.vic.gov.au to find out more information or sign up for a webinar before applications close at 11:30 pm (AEST) on Sunday 17 May 2026.
The Victorian Public Sector Commission proudly delivers this program on behalf of the Victorian Government.
