Our reporting obligations
One of our functions in the Public Administration Act 2004 is to collect and report on public sector workforce data.
To do this, we:
- run annual data collections
- run the People matter survey, an employee feedback survey
- report on data that we collect
- release case studies about trends or insights into the Victorian public sector workforce

Workforce data collection
The annual collection of employee data from all public sector organisations and the Victorian Public Service (VPS).

The survey is the Victorian public sector’s independent employee opinion survey.

Victorian Public Service executives data collection
For executives employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004.

Public entity executive remuneration survey
Monitor and report on executive employment, remuneration and compliance with government executive employment policy.
